Cass is happy to have a podcast where they can have meaningful, impassioned - and very much also off the rails - conversations with their favoritest person in the world. While Star Wars is a constant in their universe of loves, current hyperfixations they are on (their words) also include: style refreshing their house with color and new art, inundating themselves with D&D (with friends, with DropoutTV, with Nadpodd), learning how to keep bees, and mining all the shiny rocks in Starfield. Cass is just proud to be a facet of this beautiful little community of brilliant minds and lovely, friendly people.

Tommy says: “Cass and I talk a *LOT* about the nerdy stuff we love. Whether it's who we romanced in the latest sprawling RPG or why a scene from a particular TV episode reminds us of Dante's Inferno, we have always loved having deep (but mostly silly) discussions about the stuff we're into. And so, we created Distant Echoes where we could be as deep and as goofy as we'd like as we watch and rewatch some of our favorite episodes of Star Wars TV. Ultimately, our goal when we set out was always to just do something we enjoyed, be a couple of sillies, and create something positive together. So far I feel like we've accomplished that with each episode! Plus, we get to share our thoughts and learn new things about a fandom we both grew up loving.”
