About the Podcasters
-
Tommy Proffitt
(he/they)
Tommy is an improviser and sometimes writer turned podcaster who loves the act of finding joy in art, even if that means deep-diving on shows, games, and movies that others have written off. When he’s not consternating on the decisions that led to terrible 20-year-old tie-in media or the vastness of a galaxy far, far away, he’s probably cataloging his metal listening habits, in the pit at a local show, or finding ways to support queer and anti-fascist organizations.

Derek B. Gayle
(he/him)
Derek B. Gayle is a professional writer and has a background performing in live theatre. As a kid, he spent much of his free time designing the seasonal schedule for his own imaginary TV network, which explains a lot. When he’s not podcasting, Derek keeps busy by exploring the woods in search of werewolves, playing D&D, digitizing old VHS tapes, watching tokusatsu, looking at pictures of Godzilla and Garfield, and cuddling with his cats.
