David, Merrilee and Tyler gave listeners a double feature for their premiere! “Fainting Couches” gives listeners an introduction to the pod and the casters, while the three get “Baba-SHOOK” in their episode covering 2014’s The Babadook. Up next, the trio tackle Alfred Hitchcock’s classic Psycho!

Walloping Websnappers! heard the sound of wedding bells as they kicked-off their coverage of the fifth and final season of Spider-Man: The Animated Series with “The Wedding” After that, Derek and Doug follow Spidey to Moscow as the five-episode arc “Six Forgotten Warriors” begins. 

Novel Gaming! invites you to join them in attacking your backlog! Like many gamers, Katie and Doug’s list of unfinished, unplayed, and untouched games continues to grow, and to combat that, they’ve introduced The Backlog Challenge! Listen to them discuss the challenge and hear the list of games they each plan to finish between now and January.

Lee Carvallo’s Podding Challenge clowned around with fellow Glitterjaw podcaster David Arnold as they gave a brief history of television clowns, Herschel Shmoikel Pinchas Yerucham Krustofsky aka Krusty the Clown, and, of course, the 1992 puzzle-platformer Krusty’s Fun House

Skreeonk! continued to bring the heat for HOT GHIDORAH SUMMER! with….a space opera?! Derek and Doug talk about the first American-Japanese co-production with Toho – Invasion of Astro-Monster (1965)! There’s a lot of interesting details in this episode, including an unfortunate Hollywood connection. Come for the space lady clones, stay for Godzilla’s famous little dance. 

Gimmicks continued revisiting the PDE (pre-David era) of the podcast by recontextualizing classic episodes. The two reaired their episode covering Batman: The Animated Series: "P.O.V.”, which features fellow Glitterjawer Gavin! Then, in July, they revisited Lost’s “Expose”, an episode featuring Tyler and Nate from Animorphing Time, The Bruce Campbell Podcast, and Hate Speech.

Distant Echoes: A Star Wars Podcast crossed the halfway point in their journey through Disney+’s The Acolyte, releasing episodes covering all the mystery, intrigue, darkness, and Manny Jacinto of episodes three through six. They also announced the series they’ll cover next – 1985’s animated spinoff Star Wars: Droids!
